Touring 'A Bittersweet Thing' For STAIND Singer
July 21, 2008The Pulse of Radio reports: STAIND recently hit the road again for the first time in nearly two years, joining 3 DOORS DOWN and HINDER on a summer bill that extends into August. After that, the New England-based group will headline on their own before going to Europe with NICKELBACK in the fall. The Pulse of Radio asked STAIND frontman Aaron Lewis how it felt to get back out on tour again after a lengthy layoff. "It feels good right now, you know," he said. "It's always a bittersweet thing, you know. In order to go back out on the road, I have to leave my wife and three daughters at home. You know, I can't imagine me doing anything else, but it's a double-edged sword for sure."
Following its European tour with NICKELBACK, STAIND is expected to launch a new North American run with SEETHER later in the year.
The group is promoting the arrival of its sixth studio album, "The Illusion of Progress", which is due out on August 19. The new disc's first single is called "Believe".
STAIND will perform in its home state of Massachusetts on Tuesday (July 22),with a stop in Mansfield.
